Bibi’s Fun Adventure

During the hot summer of 2022, little Bibi went on a fun and exciting adventure to see Abyssinian Julius Caesar (yes, quite literally THE Julius Caesar!). And on the 11th of September…. well… you get the jist- love was in the air! After 9 weeks of waiting and cooking little babbies, 4 little healthy squeaky kittens (2 boys and 2 girls) arrived on the 14th November, 2022. Bibi has been such a sweet mother to her babbies, not leaving them alone for a minute! At around 4 or 5 weeks, however, we noticed that 2 kittens seemed to be….. lighter in colour, shall we say? yes… you read that right… we believe that Bibi has overcome the small odds (the sorrel is a recessive gene, where as chocolate/chocolate silver is her dominant) of having sorrel babies and has produced 2 of them (potentially). We plan to have the kittens tested once they have had their first innoculations, just to be sure, as they are quite the miracle if so! Now, I should finish up typing this before La Mousse complains about me sitting at my desk all day instead of giving her Creamy Dreamies!
